A fairytale wedding is every little girls dream. As a bride-to-be, we've all envisioned every last detail of our wedding day. For Stephanie, it was riding in a carriage being pulled by a white horse to the man she would spend the rest of her life with. On this special day, Stephanie and Phillip's dream became a reality at the Farm at Ridgeway in Blythewood, SC
From the day Stephanie's Prince Charming swept her off her feet, to the proposal, throughout the engagement, and finally this wedding day in which they vowed to love one another forever, it was a day straight out of a fairytale book. The lush green grasses, indoor stone fireplace and outdoor fire pit with fencing surrounding the beautiful barn property, The Farm at Ridgeway proved to be a one-of-a-kind backdrop for their 'I do's". Family and friends were seated on the outdoor wooden benches. With three bridesmaids and three groomsmen, the wedding party made their way from the double doors of the barn to the cross shaped alter. As Phillip stood with anticipation, his best man on one side and the Officiant on the other, Stephanie and her daddy made a grand entrance as the white horse and carriage rounded the corner before coming to a stop between the barn and bridge. Holding tightly to her dads arm, Stephanie walked over the bridge and past her mom to the alter where her parents gave their blessing as Philip took her hand.
What a beautiful day it was. Stephanie and Phillip not only chose The Farm as their wedding venue, but also for their engagement photographs. Steph's bridal portraits were also taken here. She chose a gorgeous sunset image of her on this very same bridge that led her to Phillip. With the hospitality of Lakyn, The Farm at Ridgeway will feel like home.
As the fired roared in the stone fireplace, the newlyweds were introduced for their first dance as husband and wife to "Marry Me " by Train. Afterwards, DJ Tony with Partytime DJ's kept the music going with lots of dancing, including one last dance for Steph and Phillip before the night ended.
As this fairytale day came to an end, sparklers lit the pathway for Stephanie and Phillip to begin their happily ever after.
Stephanie's hair and makeup were done by one of my super cool, awesome-at-what-she-does friends, Nikie Smith.
Phillip and his groomsmen kept me laughing! Wish I could show you all of them, but he might kill me. Haha!
Stephanie and her daddy just before seeing Phillip for the first time. What a way to make an entrance!
One of the best DJ's around and one of my all-time favorite guys to work with is my good friend, Tony, of Partytime DJ's.
Show Stephanie and Phillip a little love by leaving them a comment below and for me a few sweet google reviews. Once they receive at least 10 comments and (3) google reviews for 'the photographer' ;) , they will get a 16x20 photograph of choice from their wedding day.
